Meet Janay
Janay is a licensed professional counselor and National Board Certified Counselor who supports adults through the seasons of life that ask the most of them and are the least talked about. She holds the Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) from Postpartum Support International, a credential held by fewer than 8,200 providers worldwide, because she believes the perinatal journey deserves specialized care.
Her approach draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Therapy. What drives all of it is her strengths-based, affirming approach fueled by genuine curiosity about who you are underneath the performing, the proving, and the pushing through. She specializes in perinatal mental health therapy, high achiever burnout, identity, self-esteem, and LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy.
