PsyD

You Are Strong for Everyone. This Is a Space to Finally Be Supported.
Grief does not follow a timeline. Neither does the exhaustion of caregiving, the disorientation of a new diagnosis, or the quiet loss of who you were before everything changed. You may be functioning on the outside while carrying something that feels impossible to put down. And you may have been carrying it for longer than anyone around you realizes.
Dr. Sam works with adults who are ready to stop carrying it alone. Who want more than a steady routine or a list of strategies, and are looking for a grounded, steady space to actually process what they are going through and find a meaningful way forward.
Real Support for Life's Hardest Seasons.

The Person You Were Before Feels Far Away
For adults facing a health diagnosis, significant loss, or a life change that has shifted who they are and how they move through the world. Dr. Sam provides a steady space to grieve what has changed and find a meaningful path forward.
You Became the Caregiver. Who is Yours?
For the caregiver who has quietly put their own needs last for so long they are not sure they remember what those needs are. Dr. Sam offers a steady, unhurried space to set down what you have been carrying and finally tend to yourself.
Something Is Going On. You Just Need to Name It.
For adults and families who have been passed from provider to provider without ever getting a clear picture of what is going on. Dr. Sam provides comprehensive psychological testing for ADHD, Autism, and Learning Disorders, giving you the clarity you have been looking for.
Life Has Changed. Who Are You Now?
For adults in retirement, later life transitions, or shifting relationships who are questioning their purpose and place. Dr. Sam helps clients build new meaning and identity when the structures that once defined them have changed.
Meet Dr. Sam Schwartz
Dr. Sam is a clinical psychologist at Depth & Clarity Psychology working under the supervision of Dr. Anna Weber, PsyD, LP. She earned her PsyD in clinical psychology and brings specialized training in grief-informed and trauma-sensitive care to every client she works with.
Her work is grounded in person-centered and depth-oriented theory, drawing on grief-informed, trauma-sensitive, and health psychology frameworks. That means instead of focusing on symptom management, she creates space for clients' stories while helping them process what they are going through and find a meaningful way forward. She specializes in adults navigating grief and loss, caregivers carrying the weight of supporting others, and adults seeking clarity through comprehensive psychological testing for ADHD, Autism, and Learning Disorders.
Dr. Sam's dual background in both psychological assessment and depth-oriented therapy gives her a clinical perspective that most therapists do not have. She understands not just how to identify what is going on, but how to help clients make sense of it in the context of their whole life. She sees clients in person at our Elm Grove, WI office and brings person-centered, grief-informed, and trauma-sensitive care to every person who walks through the door.
